MY TOP 5 VIDEO GAMES THAT

I’VE PLAYEDMade by Michael Shea.

There are a lot of video games out there. A lot. Some are about racing, some are about Anime, some are simulators, and some are just…. weird. I’m looking at you, Katamari. Basically, there’s a game for just about everything. I’ve also played lots of games, some were bad, but others, they were really great games. Which is why I’m going to do a top five games that I’ve played. Keep in mind, if your favorite games that you’ve played aren’t on this top 5, then that means that they aren’t bad games, I just haven't played them, or I just don’t like the games you like.

NUMBER 5! For number 5, I thought of the game Kirby Super

Star Ultra, which was a DS remake of the SNES game, Kirby Super Star. I loved this game ever since I was little. Basically, it’s Kirby Super Star, which had a bunch of other Kirby games in it, no, not Kirby games like the original Kirby for the Gameboy, but rather little minigames and stuff, I don’t know, it’s hard to explain, just go play it. The reason it’s not any higher on the list, is because once you 100% complete it, there’s no replay value. Sure, you could restart the games, but then you just beat them again. And that’s it.

NUMBER 4! For number 4, I picked the game Batman Arkham Asylum. This

game is about Batman, finally stopping Joker, and he’s driving Joker to Arkham Asylum. When they both arrive, Joker goes through all the gates and stuff, but when the guards put him in his cell, Joker beats up the guards, and Harley Quinn, has total control of the asylum, Joker too. That means that Joker and Harley has control over everything. The electric gates, cameras, elevators, everything in the asylum. That means Batman has to stop Joker from releasing all the and wreaking havoc across Gotham. While the game’s plot is awesome, the gameplay isn’t. The combat isn’t the best, gliding is a pain, and you’re mostly confined in the asylum, it’s not a big open world. Also, the stealth parts, are okay, but when Arkham City came out, it fixed everything wrong with Asylum. But don’t get me wrong, it’s still a good Batman Arkham game.

NUMBER 3!I know lots of people don’t know about this game series, but it’s really cool. It’s called Ratchet and Clank. I love practically all of them, except for All 4 One, that was a bad game. But all the other ones were really good! The games were third-person shooters, they don’t have real guns, they made up weapons, and it was a more cartoony game about Ratchet, a Lombax, which Ratchet is also the last of kind, and Clank, who crash landed on Ratchets planet in the first game, saving the galaxy. It’s not just a third person shooter, it’s also a 3D platformer, and there are also some puzzles you have to solve as you go through the game.

NUMBER 2!This game is also one of those that’s really awesome, but no one’s heard of. This game is called Earthbound, Mother 2 in Japan. In fact, this was the only Mother game released in America. But this is a great game. The main character is Ness, the kid in the baseball cap, he’s also in Super Smash Bros. Anyway, a meteor falls not too far from his house, and the meteor wakes up Ness and Pokey, Ness’ neighbor also comes with Ness. But when they approach the meteor, a bee appears! But this bee is from the future! And he can also talk! (This is also a very weird game.) He tells Ness that Giygas, an evil alien, destroys Earth in the future and Ness is destined to stop Giygas! Yes, this game is very weird, and there’s a boss (Frank Fly) at the beginning who’s very hard, but it’s a great RPG! (It’s on the Wii U virtual console, it’s really hard to find Earthbound on the cartridge.)

NUMBER 1! My favorite game of all time, has to be Super Smash Bros Wii U. It’s a

fighting game starring Nintendo characters, and some characters from other non-Nintendo games. the 3DS version is also good, but I like the Wii U version a lot more. The graphics are amazing, but graphics don’t make a game amazing, it just makes the game look better. The gameplay is awesome, and there are lots of characters! Unfortunately, Nintendo cut Lucas (Mother 3) Pokémon Trainer, Wolf, Ice Climbers, and Snake. But they added a bunch of characters, so it makes up for that. The stages are well thought out, and also look amazing. They also added Mega Man, Pac-Man, and Sonic! Also Shulk, from Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii, but those aren’t all the new characters. If you haven't played this game, you should, it’s my favorite. Also, there’s Mewtwo DLC coming out late March or early April, so basically, April 1st.

ConclusionLots of games are amazing, especially the games I listed. If you haven’t played those games I listed, you should.
