My SQL Installation for

Windows

Download the MySQL Installer

• Go to http://www.mysql.com

• Click on Products

• Then click on MySQL Community Edition

• Now scroll the window and click on

Download MySQL Community Edition

• Click on Download button of any two. First

one for 32 bit OS and second one for 64 bit

OS.

• Then you will be asked to register – just

click the no thanks link:

• Then Select a mirror site to download

• After clicking on HTTP of any mirror site, it

will start to download automatically.

• After download the msi file, double click on

the file. Then the following window will

come.

• Click on Run button.

• Now MySQL is installed. Go to run option

and type cmd. Then command prompt will

come. Then write mysql to start.
