WHY I LIKE QUOTES

They often convey an important, witty idea or thought

relevant to a conversation or topic in a succint, possibly

memorable or historic words, often honoring a tradition,

well-proven fact or an individual. They are very often used

to support, oppose or present an entirely different view of

a situation in a humorous light or pridefully used in an

attempt to bolster one's credentials as to being

knowledgeable.

WHY I LIKE QUOTES

In fact, whatever you are doing, it is a great idea to get

together a long list of your favorite quotes that put all of

your activities into context and perspective. If you are

concerned about giving a talk at school, then look for some

quotes that will help you overcome your fear. It you are

needing to lead a team on the sports field then find some

quotes about leadership to inspire you.

Enjoy reading .. Cheers.

Someone once asked me,“Why do you always insist on taking the hard road?”And I replied,“Why do you assume I see two roads?”

Even when he is surprised and runs for his life,He will pause to take one more look at you before he enters his final retreat. So then too should you take a second look at everything you see.

Clear your mind of ‘can’t’ ~ Samuel Johnson You can do it.  You have a

dream.  Others may try to tell you “You can’t do it”.  There are many negative thinkers out there.  They may blow a “cold wind” on your dreams.

But you don’t have to let them.  If this happens and negative creeps into your mind remind yourself very intentionally that it is their problem and that indeed YOU CAN DO IT.

‘Many of the life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.’ ~ Thomas A. Edison (1847 – 1931)

“Just because something doesn’t do what you planned it to do doesn’t mean it’s useless.”

It means love is worth the hurt it can cause. If you loved and it ended badly it was still worth it in the end. To love and be hurt is better than to never have experienced love.

Anyone can give up.It’s the easiest thing in the world

to do.

But to hold it together,When everything seems like
