DESCRIPTION
This is my inspiration booklet, it follows my second year in textile design and fashion. This is my semester two project where i have been creating rusty knits by knitting with 'Brillo Pads', soaking them in vinegar and then drawing the knits! My inspiration and colour pallet comes from my sketches from the Belfast Dry Docks, but also from things I have found while sketching; forgotten items like rusted washers. I have aim to give them a 'second life' by incorporating them into my knitted pieces. Enjoy!!TRANSCRIPT
