My Florida Regional MLS Welcomes New President Melody Hall

MAITLAND, FL – July 23, 2012– My Florida Regional MLS (MFRMLS) is proud to welcome Melody Hall as its newly elected President for the 2012‐2013 term. Presiding over elected volunteers, Hall and the Board of Directors govern the operations and policies of MFRMLS—a consortium formed by 15 shareholder REALTOR® associations and 4 Customer associations throughout central and southwest Florida. “As the recently elected President of MFRMLS, I look forward to continuing to facilitate the growth of the organization. I feel strongly that our regional MLS service offers a state of the art system that is "second to none" in the real estate industry. I am excited to have the opportunity, as a corporate officer, to take this message to real estate professionals who could benefit through membership,” states Hall. Hall has been a Florida Broker Associate for 24 years and holds the Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and the Internet Certification (e-PRO) designations. Recognized by the West Volusia Association of Realtors as "Realtor of the Year" in 2009, she strives to offer a high standard of professionalism to the industry. Hall holds a Bachelors of Science in Education from Florida State University and a Masters of Education in College Administration from The University of Georgia. Prior to entering the real estate profession, Hall she served as the Assistant Director of University Housing at Stetson University. Before her election as President of MFRMLS, Hall served on the MLS Board of Directors with previous positions including President-Elect and Vice President. Hall also served two years as committee chair on the MLS Expansion committee. Hall believes in giving back to the community through volunteerism as a Past President of both the Junior Service League of Deland, Inc. and Mainstreet Deland Association. She is an avid runner and currently serves on the Board of Directors of "Girls on the Run" of Volusia County which is a self esteem building, after school program for young girls which culminates in the completion of a 5K race for participants.
