Britney Spears 1998“… Baby one more time”Not only is the track one of the most iconic pop songs of the '90s, but the accompanying visual more than did it justice. Spears will forever be associated with her schoolgirl uniform and pink fluffy bunches.

Having been born in late 1997, pop music videos were still new to world of music. Spears’ hit of 1998 was playing in my ears from the tender age of one. The iconic music video was every girls dream, to be like Britney. Her youthfulness and beauty made the video energetic and eye catching winning best pop music video on the 90’s. In hindsight, 16 years on, its still an iconic video in which most girls/women and boys…. admire.

The video begins with Spears appearing bored in class at a Catholic high school. When the bell rings, Spears runs out into the hall and begins a choreographed dance in the corridor. After this, Spears is outside, now adorned in an pink athletic outfit, and seen in a car. Along with a couple of other students, she performs a number of gymnastic moves before heading back inside. She is then sitting on the bleachers in the gymnasium watching a basketball game, and she dances in the gymnasium. Her love interest is revealed sitting close to her. After this short segment, Spears begins her final dance routine and the video ends shortly afterwards, and the bell rings and Spears leaves the gymnasium, revealing that the whole thing had actually just been Spears's daydream.
