My favourite books

1st place is going on a bear hunt

This book is my favourite book because it is funny and very enjoyable.

In 2nd place is the gruffalo

This book is about a fish on an adventure.

I liked this book because it made me happy when I was sad and it was the very first book I read.

4th place is rumble in the jungle

I liked this book because it was good at rhyming and made me laugh.

5th place is pants Small children (and lots of adults!) love pants. They love talking about pants. They giggle whenever pants are mentioned. Let's face it - Pants are very funny! "Pants" is a picture book with a brilliant rhyming text by Giles Andreae and lots of hilarious pictures by Nick Sharratt. As we go through the book, we meet lots of different animals, people and sometimes inanimate objects each wearing a different kind of pants - every shape, pattern, colour, size and style that you can think of - and lots more besides! This book will make children laugh and they will ask for it again and again. Pants - which ones are your favourite?

6th place is spot

Bold, colourful illustrations make this book particularly engaging for children. Altogether, this is an irresistibly playful book.I like this book

because I have enjoyed it when I was young and I still do.

7th place is the abc

• I have chosen this book because with out this then I wouldn’t be able to write or talk.

8th place is pumpkin soup

• I chose the pumpkin soup because when I was little I used to read it when I was about to go to bed as a bed time story and found it very amusing
