1997: I first did it with DOS
• My first computer lesson was back in my junior year in high school. I remember memorizing short commands using the keyboard and saving files in floppy disks.
2000: I got bitten by the Tech bug• While the world got curious about the Y2K
bug upon the turn of the century, I made my first email account which I still use until now (more than a decade later).
Technology in school
• I was still able to submit typewritten occasional papers in college.
• Some of my professors still used transparencies with their handwritten notes flashed on an OHP.
2002: Technology + Love = Magic• Technology does magic. I got my very first

2003: Teaching with Technology• When I became a high school
teacher, I saw how technology can make my life so much easier.
• I prepare materials and reports in MS Word, compute grades in MS Excel, design programs and layout school paper in MS Publisher.

2009: Gradual growth with Technology
• My slow but steady progress in integrating technology in my teaching started when I was employed as instructor in a state university.
Capability building in EdTech• My first training in using
technology in the classroom is the Intel Teach Program.Intel Teach Elements
My Wikis• I started exploring Wikispaces.
My first job as Resource Speaker• The very first time I was invited to be Resource Speaker,
I lectured on ICT integration!
My online course• I have been handling language teaching
courses online using our school’s learning management system.
My e-Social Life• I keep three e-mail accounts.
• I have Facebook and Twitter accounts.
The most recent development• I am now enrolled in a graduate course in
Educational Technology.
Moving forward• The growth may be gradual,
but it is definitely continuing. I am excited to explore technology more and see where it takes me not only as a teacher but as a learner as well.
