The Trip Up

When I first arrived in Seattle, we went to the Woodland Park Zoo.

When we got to the Raden family farm on Whidbey island we went out and caught some crab in the bay in front of the farm.

We had to take multiple ferry rides to get to Llama Pass Fishing Lodge in British Columbia.

What It Looked Like

Montana is a lot like British Columbia as far as the geography… just with out the salt water

What I learned

I learned a lot about the art of fishing and how the equipment worked. I also learned about the different types of fish in the area I was fishing and how to identify them. I also learned about the native culture and the history of the area that I was in. I hope to share my stories and adventures with many people and I hope to go back to Llama Pass!

Thank You!

This scholarship allowed me to go to a place that I would of never gotten to go to if I had not received this scholarship. It also challenged me to be away from my family for so long.Thank you Mr.Harder and Ms.Breuner for the letters of recommendation and thanks to the Yellowstone Club Dave Mueller Fund and Casey Schwartz for making this possible!
