I.Y. college is located in Jogeshwari east, Mumbai, India..a 54 acre land which is rich in flora n fauna..alot of species have not been added and many have not been identified...some of them are black naped monarch flycatcher, lesser flame back, Crimson backed sunbird, southindian squil and many more

METHODOLOGY

• Most of the study was based on observation on frequent time interval.

• Seasonal varieties also observed. • The birds on the Campus were studied by

frequency of occurrence for sighting and calls.

• The insects, spiders, reptiles and amphibians were studied by direct sighting.

• It includes a variety of trees, shrubs and herbs.

• Complete flowering cycle of trees observed.

• Profusion of grasses/monsoon flora with rains; bryophytes and pteridophytes seen

• Tress- 35 species observed :Banyan, Neem, Peepal, palm tress, Pongam, Gulmohar, etc
