Utheemu is one of the populated islands

of Haa Alif Atoll in the north of the

Maldives.

Utheemu Ganduvaru is a historical place that once served as the home of Sultan Mohamed Thankurufaan.

Utheemu Ganduvaru is made of wood, and is the palace in which King Sultan

Mohamed Thakurufaanu lived and grew up.

Hukuru Miskiiy(Old Friday Mosque)

Hukuru Miskiiy was established in the year

1956 and it is the oldest mosque of the country.

This old Friday mosque was built during the

period of Sultan Ibrahim Iskandhar I.

Hukuru Miskiiy is known for its fine lacquer work

and intricate woodcarvings.

National MusuemMaldives

The first national museum was established in

November 11th 1952, by the Prime Minister at the

time, Mohamed Amin Didi.

Girifushi in North Male Atoll.

It is a stunning reef with amazing caves and crannies decked up with wonderful coral formation and rich colorful marine life.

Banana Reef Maldives

Banana Reef is one of the best wonderful

dive sites to be exposed in the

Maldives

Banana Reef is a protected area and famous for its

incredible diving opportunities.

Divers can wait for see some wonderful corals around which groper, sharks, jackfish, blue-striped snapper and

barracuda roam.

Manta Point

Manta Point is located south east of Lankan Finolhu and it is one hour

sailing from Male.
