HSE POLICY

The purpose of UNI:ON HSE Policy is to protect and respect all living beings and environment,

which is the essence of our mission.

Our management recognizes our HSE policy as the most effective management tool.

Furthermore, our employees accept and apply the HSE procedures and instructions in their daily

work.

Our HSE guidelines can be summarized as follows;

UNI:ON always overemphasize the value of HSE.

Every action of UNI:ON staff, car, accommodation follow our work guide book which is focused

Staff

● Establishment of Strict Regulation per each Service Category.

● Training for strict regulation for each service.

● Obtain material for use in safety training.

● Training for proper PPE use.

● Prepare training plan.

● Develop and give induction and specific training courses.

● Develop material for regular toolbox talks.

● Coordinate with Company manager and ensure Company’s mandatory courses are attended by the required

personnel.

● Defensive and Active Driving Training.

Accommodation

● Staff must check proper operation of safety equipments before hand-over.

● Staff must check and inform the ‘Fire plan’. This plan should be attached on visible area clearly.

Car

● Staff must checks insurance and registration condition before delivery.

● Both papers should be furnished in car.

● Staff must checks car safety kits (Emergency contact sticker, Fire extinguisher, First aid kits Camera, etc) before

delivery and regularly.

● Staff must give major control instruction for the car before leave.

● Staff must maintain car according to ‘Car Maintenance List’ for oil, Tires, etc.

Shuttle Service

● Driver must maintain bus according to ‘Car Maintenance List’ for Oil, Tires, and seatbelts etc.

● Driver must keep Speed Limit of road and traffic regulations.

● Driver must not drive if all passengers do not fasten their seat belt.

Flushing

Flushing of Piping is carried out in order to remove mud, sand, cement, welding slag, loose foreign materials,

sludge & iron pieces etc. in to the pipe, generated during manufacturing, fabrication, transportation,

erection & construction.

In addition, the benefit of flushing will increase a significant life time of equipment and fully support a

successes of commissioning due to decontamination in the system and great support the equipment war-

ranty claim. A flushing method is purposed to minimized a possibility re-contamination during all processes

Water Flushing

Clean up the piping with water to remove welding Slug, Grit, Sanding, Tresh, dirt, loose scale other debris

and foreign material.

Water Jet is for large piping (larger than 6 inch in diagram) in which the flow is not enough with Circulation

Pump.

Pneumatic Flushing

Pneumatic Flushing is for piping which is not suitable for water flushing. In this case, flush the piping with air

instead of water. *minimum pressure - 4.92kg/cm2(70psig)

Pig flushing

After Water-jet flushing & Circulation, to remove remained water & dry up some pieces which is hard to dry

with ordinary drying method, Pig flushing is done.

Oil flushing

To remove particles inside piping, oil flushing is done. For better result, oil temperature is controlled stable

and periodically take samples to check the grade.

This enlarge lifetime of equipment, helps better condition of operation, and prevent accident.

Preservation

Preservation shall be provided to prevent the corrosion an deterioration of equipment and material from the

effects of environmental conditions during shipping, storage and construction.

Equipment & Parts shall be protected against the effects of climatic conditions such as rain, snow, freezing,

high humidity, fresh and salt water splashing, salt air, sunlight and mildew.

Admission of debris (for example, flushing water, shot blast, etc) as well as rough handling, jolting, and

impact, shall be avoided.

Equipment and parts to be preserved and protected shall include the following items. But not be limited.

● Machinery internals, bearings, seals, machined surface

● Electric motors, switchgear, transformers, cabinets, contactors, junction and splice boxes, batteries

● Instruments and associated cabinets, panels, terminal boxes

● Valve internals, stems, glands, bodies

● Flange faces, metallic gaskets, bolting, pipe threads, pipe support threaded adjusters

● Vessel and exchanger internals
