Levon Chilingirian & Susie Mészáros, members of the celebrated Chilingirian String Quartet and professors at the RAM, RCM, Guildhall and the RNCM, will be joined by Jane Hyland, former principal cellist of the BBC Welsh Orchestra, to give individual lessons, masterclasses, chamber music coaching and orchestral training. The course will culminate in twoconcerts: one showcasing the students’ chamber, soloand ensemble work and the other playing Mozart,Beethoven & Elgar next to a professional player in theFestival Orchestra conducted by James Lowe.

Hosted in a Provençal family residence, students enjoy eight days of intensive tuition with free time forswimming and relaxing. The Academy attend eveningconcerts in the region’s spectacular chapels andchurches followed by al fresco dinners with the Festivalmusicians and team.
