Llus Llach

Lluis Llach (1948) music and Catalan singer. He was considered one of the main components of the New Catalan Song. All his songs are in his native language and most of them were forbidden by the dictator Francisco Franco.His most popular and compromising song was LEstaca. He wrote it in 1968 and Jacek Kaczmarsky adapted it as a non-official hymn from the Polish Trade Union Solidarnosc. It was also the song used in the Tunisian Revolution in 2011. Nowadays is the hymn of the rugby team from Perpiny.( France)
