THE TRINITY COLLEGE GOSPEL CHOIR (TCGC)The Trinity College Gospel Choir (TCGC), a student organization now in its 23rd season, brings the vital tradition of gospel music to the Trinity community. Members of the gospel choir enhance the group’s music

program through elements of dance, spoken word, and prayer from the traditional African-American churches. Centered on song, TCGC also builds community and evokes social change on campus. Over the course of each semester, TCGC prepares a concert for the campus community.

The core programs to TCGC are our seasonal concerts. Every Fall and Spring semester we create a space where everyone can join us in worship and praise to the Lord through singing. Each concert has a theme. The Spring of 2012 concert was themed Relentless.

Every Sunday beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the Bishop’s Lounge (Mather Hall), members of the choir and Trinity Community gather in song and scripture as we strive to improve our spiritual lives. Every Tuesday evening in the Bishop’s Lounge, members of the choir and Trinity Community gather first in prayer and song as we prepare for future concerts and performances. These practices are not exclusive. If you have any questions, please contact the current co-chairs Fay Williams ([email protected]) and Kristina Mereigh ([email protected]).
