5. Cooperation and Communication:

a. We all have been assigned important tasks to help fulfill the work of the Music Ministry. Everyone’s input and contribution is very important. There are no “Big I’s and Little you’s”. Every member has a critical piece needed to our success as a ministry.

b. To effectively do our jobs we need to respect and cooperate with each other. If a problem or misunderstanding arises which cannot be resolved at your level, please communicate with the Minister of Music so that a resolution can be found.

c. Ongoing conflicts and miscommunication problems eventually erodes our unity. However, when open lines of communication exist, we can effectively deal with those problems which crop up periodically. (Philippians 2:2-3)

6. Exhibit and Walk in Agape’ Love:

a. Love must be the primary reason for everything we do for God. Our blessings flow through our obedience to the Law of Love. The Lord Jesus says that if we love Him we will obey His commandments. He further encourages us to have love towards our brothers and sisters in the Lord as well as our enemies. There is no excuse for lovelessness. Since love is an action word, we must take care to exhibit respect, compassion, and sensitivity towards each other. Follow that old adage, “Treat others as you would have them treat you”. (Corinthians:13)

7. No Gossiping:

a. We realize that gossiping and backbiting is detrimental to us all. All members are expected not to participate in or encourage gossip. (Ephesians 4:29-30)

8. Timeliness:

a. All Music Ministry Personnel are required to be present and on time for all rehearsals and services. Everyone is to be present for prayer and preparation.
