Music Magazine Double Page Spreads

This is my analysis of my favourite music magazine’s double page spreads which will

inspire my music magazine

BlenderMasthead/ Logo used throughout to help create synergy between the pages.

In both pictures the girl band are represented the same as a girly girl group with attitude.

Continuing with the same colour scheme used throughout the magazine to create synergy between all of the pages

BlenderPlay on words with one of her songs so if you know the song you instantly know who the feature is about.

Continued pink, black & white colour scheme, even in the photo of her.

Same font used throughout but different text settings and font styles

The large picture breaks up the text, o that it doesn’t seem like a book

VibeVery similar images creating synergy across both pages

Introduction with a different type setting, but the same font to introduce the reader.

Her pose represents her to be like a little girl, therefore stereotypically sweet and innocent ,which links in with the pull quote about people judging her. Then the background images show her to be fun, which links into the other part of the quote about enjoying yourself.
