I believe that the position I will be placing my music magazine will be successful as I have found a gap in the market, with a high quality and fairly low price. In my research, there was a gap in the market under ‘high quality and low price’, so I took the opportunity to break into the market to try to succeed.This will attract consumers because they will be looking for something with a high quality, but also wouldn’t want to spend to much money on a magazine. This is why I have placed my product at a price lower to most of my competitors so that I can try to attract the customers more than my competitors. My final conclusion is that I imagine my product is placed at a good place which can give me a competitive advantage and give me, the best chance possible to be successful.

Style and Tone

maybe an exclusive feel to it.• It will focus on the newest stars and hits in the music industry.• The articles will cover a lot of information about the latest news in

Jacob:

Jacob is a 22 year old from Dudley. He is passionate about his music which includes Hip hop and listens to this on a regular basis. An example of his clothing is shown to the right. This includes the latest trends with fairly expensive brands. He also wears accessories such as glasses, snapbacks, and very fashionable shoes which would be identified as stylish. He has a few favourite artists such as Kendrick Lamar, JAY-Z and Kanye West.Jacob will sometimes go to concerts but he believes they are to expensive to see his favourite artists perform live. For this reason, he now listens to his favourite type of music a lot more as he misses his preferred artists. He also supports them very much so as he always buys their newest albums.

How would it fit alongside existing publications?

My idea will be relevant on the market as it will show a new, unique way of symbolising the music industry. It will also include very rare chances of seeing extremely popular artists, and if someone was to win this, I can guarantee they wont forget this experience. I believe that the music magazine will have a consistent quality of high standards. The music magazine will stay in the market for this reason and will have a low chance of liquidating. Also I think that my target audience will help me to reach this goal as I have located a large group which will be interesting in my product.

Magazines that are relevant;

The magazine which have the most relevance to mine would be Q. This is because we share some ideas and I could also gain a few new ideas too. The way that we could be compared is because both tones are fairly relaxed.A style I could use to make mine better would be using some of the text variations that are placed in the best positions possible to gain more attention from the reader. This could make my magazine better as it could use a bit more attention to the key stories that are most important, in my opinion.
