• Pop music originally came from the abbreviation of "popular“.
• It is a genre of popular music including various genres including: urban, dance, rock Latin & country
• It originated in its modern form in the 1950s from rock and role.
• Pop songs are usually short to medium-length songs, with a basic format and often a verse-chorus structure.
POP
• Punk rock (or punk) developed from the rock music genre
• It developed in the US between 1969 and 1976 in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia.
• Punk bands generally use short or fast-paced songs. This usually includes hard-edged melodies and singing styles, minimal instrumentation (usually guitar and drums).
PUNK ROCK
• Jazz originated in African-American communities during the late 19th and early 20th century.
• It interprets American and European classical music as well as African and slave folk songs and the influences of West African culture.
• There are many types of Jazz Music, some of them are: Cool Jazz, Hard Bop, Modal Jazz and Free Jazz.
JAZZ
• Country music is a genre of American Popular Music that originated in Atlanta in the 1920s.
• Its taken from the south eastern genres of American folk music and western music.
• Country is a blend of popular songs, Irish and Celtic fiddle tunes, traditional ballads, and cowboy songs.
