QUESTION OF THE WEEK
Adults: What important work does Jesus ask of you at this
time in your life?
Children: How would Jesus want you to treat your family
and friends this week?
HELP WANTED
Ushers and folks to help disinfect after our weekend Masses
are still needed. Please consider lending a hand. The more
volunteers, the less work each will need to do. Pleas call the
Parish Office to volunteer at 508-347-7338. Thank you.
PRAYER TO THE
HOLY SPIRIT
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts
of Your faithful and enkindle in
them the fire of Your love. Send
forth Your Spirit and they shall be created. And You will
renew the face of the earth.
Lord, by the light of the Holy Spirit You have taught the
hearts of Your faithful. In the same Spirit help us to relish
what is right and always rejoice in Your consolation.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

and/or process orders.
TIE A YELLOW RIBBON
The yellow ribbons you see around the parish and shrine grounds are inspired by the song, “Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the
Ole Oak Tree” made popular by Tony Orlando and Dawn in the early70’s.
The song is sung from the point of view of someone who has “done my time” but is uncertain if he will be welcomed home.
He writes to his love, asking her to tie a yellow ribbon around the “ole oak tree” in front of the house (which the bus will pass
by) if she wants him to return to her life; if he does not see a ribbon, he will remain on the bus (taking that to mean he is un-
welcome) and understand her reasons (“put the blame on me”). He asks the bus driver to check, fearful of not seeing any-
thing. To his amazement, the entire bus cheers the response—there are 100 yellow ribbons around the tree, a sign he is very
much welcome. (Wikipedia)
We have been away for quite some time: confined, isolated and restricted in our own places. Now that we have “done our
time”, it’s time to go back home! Most of you may feel excited but others may feel cautious and afraid, but whatever the feel-
ing is, we are longing to welcome you back! The yellow ribbons you see all over the parish and shrine grounds are a sign that
all of you are very much welcome! You just don’t know how much we’ve missed all of you!
Welcome back! Welcome home!
“Thank God you are here!”
With much longing and excitement,
In Christ,
Fr. Alex A. Castro, AA
Pastor
