The project

Kent Music will set up a panel of around12 Children and Young People (CYP) in the

Tonbridge area (between May 2012 - March 2014), and this panel will set up a series

of music projects /groups /activities, which will be decided by the CYP and created for

their peers by the panel.

They will be given the responsibility for a proportion of the budget.

Job roles

We will be looking for people to fill particular roles on the panel. Take a look to see if

any of these are your area of expertise:

♦ Chairperson - lead and guide meetings and ensure the group is working

effectively

♦ Treasurers - make sure the budget and spending stays on track

♦ Administrators - taking notes in meetings, communicating and keeping records

♦ Project managers - take responsibility for ensuring every part of the project is

running smoothly

♦ Musical specialists - ideas people and people who love their music ♦ Marketing and Communications - branding, social networking and telling the

world about the newly created music projects.

the Music Core could be.
