September 11, 2001 was a tragic day for people all over the world. They mourned be-cause of the tragedy that happened in New York as well as all over the country. What I remember was that many people started scrambling around trying getting out sky-scrapers, heading to their vehicles, talking on their cell phones, and trying their best to get home. That day was confusing and un-imaginable.

As months and years pass and the days calming down, many companies, elemen-tary schools and colleges, retail stores and gas stations started closing because of the market and CEO thefts. Huge companies were caught in many scandals regarding investments and money. Schools and col-leges complained about not having money, closing such school around the nation and just thinking about not having the funds to run the schools and colleges. Retail store were closing because the loss percentages and people to shop. Therefore, sales started to happen.

Now, let’s turn our eyes to the gas stations. Many of our gas station has been price gouging since the day of this tragic moment in time, but many people haven’t seen the worst of it.

For the past months, BP had the biggest oil spill. Millions of gallons of oil flooded the Gulf causing many businesses to stop production as well as the fishmen to hault in fishing. They wanted the government to assist in the cleanup of such matters. Again, CEO’s were

changed in the course of this cleanup.

People of America, I bring this back to you, to say this, you’re paying money at the gas pumps, if you use a credit card at most gas station you will be charged a $1, if you see a price advertised – it will change the mean-ing when you pay cash (it’s the price adver-tised), if you pay by credit card, the (price advertised) will change because you’re us-ing a credit card. In the investigation of such gas stations in Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana – these stations do carry the rule of thumb of information.

People check your credit card bill to see if a dollar $1 was charged to your account. An-other thing, any gas station that you go to, check the price, and ask the attendant that famous question: Will I be charged for using my credit card at the gas pump?

Oh yeah, most cities don’t fight for gas price because they don’t care, taxes are to high at the pump, gas station owners are trying go with the flow, and/or the owners are going with the flow by the average income actually made within your own community.

Is this you?Sacrificing in the fate of music…

People need to realize that when partici-pating in a craft called music – they need to understand that it takes finesse and reasoning to create such passion. What artists need to understand is that, when getting involved with such a craft that many eyes will be on them at all times. You never know whose watching your better half as in your music, stage pres-ents, uniqueness, weakness, positions, and all in all your business.

Artists, you must understand that people will watch you at all times and report ev-erything in which you say and do.

In this game, artists must realize when participating in the craft of music, all in-dividuals involved in taking your passion to the next level, or being in the presents of other music idols or AR personal - you must shut your fucking mouth. Espe-cially, when you don’t know what you’re talking about.

We talk about music because most in-dividuals who used to have stardom or have been in the business for years, they pretty much have over-extend their influences and welcome in this music game. In most people’s minds, what the hell are you doing now?

Why are you questioning my techniques, but not completing your own CD?

Why are you getting mad about how I’m working my tracks, when you need tracks of your own?

Why are you in my business, when you trying to gain business by disturbing what I got going on?

Words that we live by!Get it in!

2KlevaDonatain “2Kleva” Williams

Born Dontain 2Kleva Williams, 4th January 1973, at Bethany Hospital, Chicago, Illinois, USA, to birth parents mother Bar-bara Williams and father Howard Walls. Dontain was raised in the Rockwell Garden Projects building 117 apt. #304, then a few years later his family moved to the Austin Area, 108 South Parkside. He attended Depriest Elementary School, and then attended Michelle Clark Middle School where he graduated with honors, his freshmen year of high school was spent at Austin Academy.

Dontain 2Kleva Williams started rapping at the age of seven, right after he heard “The Rappin Duke” & “The Sugar Hill Gang” for the first time over the radio station WGCI FM. Short-ly after that 2Kleva knew that Hip Hop music was something that he wanted to pursue in his life. He started writing poems which naturally turned into writing songs, and ever since then he has been seriously establishing a relationship with his God given talent. He also knew then he had what it took to become a promising Hip Hop artist (that the world has never seen). When two of his childhood best friends and Dontain wrote their very first rap song entitled: “My Mercedes Benz” back in 1985. Over twenty plus years have passed and 2Kleva is one of the most prosperous Independent Entrepreneurs in the Hip Hop industry, and very well respected on the streets.

January of 1998 Dontain decided to come up with a stage name, after months of searching for that phenomenal name in the Webster Dictionary, he finally came across the word clever, right then and there he read the definition for the word, Don-tain was really truly overwhelmed & satisfied with the name &meaning so he decided to officially use the name clever, be-cause he felt that the word clever definitely described him not only as a person but ultimately as an artist. So he changed the spelling of the original word clever to Kleva and he put the number 2 in front of the word, and that’s how he came up with his stage name 2Kleva. Not even a month later he copyrighted his stage name for business purposes.

March of 1998, 2Kleva along with his studio engineer, Nate Montgomery decided to record his very first demo of his Hip Hop career. It was entitled: “I Pray” (For The World) sampled from “Something in the Past” by One Way. After the single

“I Pray” was completed he started promoting & selling his demo on the streets of Chicago. He sold his single for $5.00 each and successfully sold over 5,000 copies. April 1998 2Kleva also decided to copyright his new single “I Pray” for business purposes. May of 1998 2Kleva performed for the very first time his single “I Pray” (For the World) on the Royce Show, which aired on cable television channel 19 in his home town Chicago, IL. June 1998 he also performed on the Elma & Co. show which also aired on cable television channel 25. August 1998 2Kleva was given an opportunity to perform at a Back to School Special at La Follette Park located on the Westside of Chicago, IL.

January 1999 2Kleva performed for the second time on the Elma & Co. show. 2Kleva still continued to sell his single on the streets of Chicago and successfully sold over a thousand copies. May 1999 2Kleva performed for the second time on the Royce Show. June 1999 2Kleva decided to take time off from working and went on vacation. He stayed at the Riviera Hotel located on the Las Vegas strip, shortly after just two days at the hotel 2Kle-va was approached by a gentleman by the name of Freddy who worked at the hotel, as a ticket agent. Freddy offered 2Kleva 2 free tickets to the Hip Hop show that was being performed at the hotel that night. Freddy then asked 2Kleva was he a rap artist, he replied yes, Freddy then asked 2Kleva if he had a demo to give it to him because he knew the promoter of the show personally and that he can set up something for him to perform at the show later that night, if the promoter liked what he heard. Freddy contacted 2Kle-va to tell him good news the promoter wanted to meet with him to discuss the details for performing at the show that night. 2Kleva thanked Freddy again for the huge opportunity to be able to perform his single “I Pray” (For the World) in front of hundreds of people at the Riviera Hotel showcase.

August 1999 2Kleva once again performs at La Follette Park for the Back to School Special in Chicago, IL. It was the very first time in 2Kleva’s career that he was blessed with signing autographs for all the local children at the park that year.
