Began to play piano.
Played piano in Australian pop bands and for other Australian singers.
Began to get television gigs.

Listening Guide 0:00 – Begins with a slow build up
and volume crescendos. Ensemble begins to play and the French Horn plays a loud and dominant melody. About 140 bpm.
0:30 - Melody continues, now with trumpets heard. The piece shows repetition. Violins then take over the melody. The acoustic guitar comes in, and the tempo slows.
1:00 – Acoustic guitar continues the melody, the guitar fades out and chimes are rhythmically heard. The tempo slows and the French Horns play a few beats. Song fades.

Listening Guide 0:00 – Begins with a man’s bass
voice humming. An acoustic guitar being finger-picked then takes over the melody. Played in the tenor key and very slow in tempo. 0:30 the flutes harmonize with the guitar.
0:45 - Violins take over the melody. Melody switches off being played by the flutes and violins.
1:30 – Violins and acoustic guitar play. Guitar then takes over the melody, with violin holing out notes over. At 1:51 the humming comes back. The humming ends while the violins/guitar fade out.

Listening Guide 0:00 – Song begins with the piano, playing
a mix of chords and melody. At 0:39 the violins being to harmonize with the piano. The piano begins to fade out.
0:45 – Violins and piano are playing the melody. The cello comes in at 1:14 until 1:20.
1:30 – Section starts with the flutes playing the melody, the piano is an octave higher. Gradually an ensemble comes in. the tempo is fast and the rhythm uneven.
2:15 – Piano continues. Violins play high trill notes.
3:00 – Triads are played by the piano, then played an octave higher. Song begins to fade out.
3:20 – Ends.

Listening Guide 0:00 – Violins play high trill notes. French Horns
set melody in a Calvary charge style. Ensemble gradually comes in. Cellos play a steady beat. Trumpets/French Horns take turns playing the melody. At 0:24-0:29 the acoustic guitar is alone. Violins add in.
0:45 – Acoustic guitar plays, then the cello takes over. Continues a pulsating rhythm. 1:01 French horns are added in.
1:30 – Percussion comes in. At 1:54 the instruments fade out and the French horn plays solo. The drums do a drum roll and French horns continue.
2:15 – Build up of drums and violin. Brief rest, then the ensemble continues. At 2:45 the acoustic guitar has a solo. Then the French horns add in. At 2:48 a drum set does beat instead of the cello.

Cont. 3:00 – Drums continue to keep
the beat. Volume of the piece increases. Violin takes over the melody. There’s a rest, then the acoustic guitar begins.
3:45 – Ensemble continues, this section ends with a cymbal crash.
4:30 – The ensemble continues with the drums playing the melody. At 4:49 all instruments come in with a thunderous thun thun thun. The ensemble begins to fade out.
5:03 – Ends.

roll. Violins create a pulsating beat. Sounds similar to The Main Theme. Crescendos and increase of tempo.
0:30 – French horns commence. Trumpets add in. a simple one hand piano melody is played at a high octave.
1:00 – The ensemble resumes. There are two sets of the French horns playing, a rest, then playing again. The horns fade out.
1:31 – Ends.
