We will learn to…• identify different musical styles within the Rock ‘n’ Roll tradition

• identify various contributors that represent those major styles

• understand how music both reflects and shapes culture

• place important musical examples in their historical context

•What is the significance of the guitar to Rock ‘n’ Roll?

•Who are some of the main contributors? What are their contributions?

Hour 3: Musical Overview
