COMMUNITY IMPACT1. Whatis the community problem?

In Devarahalli village most of the women are not much educated, so they have very low

income. Moreover they do not have any leisure time activity, they spend their time only in

house hold chores. They are not engaged in any kind of employment as a result their standard of

life is not good

2. How is the problem affecting the community?The problem of women affecting their families and community. They have less income

as a result there is no development and they get minimum facilities. Women become more

dependent on men and they are often exploited by others

3. Problem-solving techniques used entire process ?We wanted to make self help group among ladies in our village by giving training on

mush room cultivation. So we invited trainers for giving training on mushroom cultivation .

They conducted training by giving demonstration

4.What are the technologies used for problem-solving?

Computers with LCD, CAMERA, Scanner

5. How has the community benefited from theproject?

a. They have got self-sufficient in self employment.b. They learnt how to cultivate Mushroomsc. They are out of unemployment now our women are productive groups of employment.d. They became independent women.e. Now they can earn their income for their family.f. By the above said results we the Navodaya children created empowered women society

in our village.

6. How have the students benefited from the project?i. Students are benefitting so much.
