PUERTO DE LA CRUZ

Puerto de la Cruz is a small, quiet borough of almost 9 square kilometres, situated on the north west coast of Tenerife, within the grand natural amphitheatre of La Orotava Valley.Overlooked by the spectacular Teide sum-mit,with its unique climate and rich landscapes.

MUNICIPAL ARCHAEOLOGY MUSEUM

The museum is located in an old mansion supplied with a lot of intriguing collections of aboriginal ceramics used by the Guanches. The exhibition consists of a variety of maps from the 17th century, weapons and wood speci-mens from the countryside of the Islands.

MACEW

MACEW is one of the oldest in Spain, opened on 28th of March 1953 .It ex-poses a lot of valuable works by im-portant artists like Juan Ismael, Oscar Dominguez, Will Faber and many more. The collection is divided into four parts which show the rich Spanish art.

THE MUSEUM OF SACRED ART

The museum shows the history, worship and devotions of the main church of Puerto de la Cruz, founded in the early 17th century. The monument is a re-flection of the existence of the town from its earliest origins to the arts of the recent centu-ries.
