It was flattened after it was humidified.
It unrolled so that it can be read.
Drying after wet immersion
The parchment scroll
does have bled
signatures. They
cannot be changed
but it was mounted on
a matching acid free
backing to make it
pleasant to view and
stabilized for easy
aging.

• The directors scroll was stabilized, flattened and
somewhat restored and is more readable text
after it was flattened.

• We included
individual buffer
mounts for other
semi-treated
objects on the day
of my visit on site.
