A Wrinkle in Time is the story of Meg Murry, who is transported on an adventure through time and space to rescue her father, a gift-ed scientist, from the evil forces that hold him prisoner on another planet.

Max “the Wolf” is a Boy Scout, an expert at orienteering and a master of being pre-pared. So it is a little odd that he suddenly finds himself, with no recollection of his im-mediate past, lost in an unfamiliar wood.

I found time-spaces of emensely varied and beautiful landscapes, hidden cities, peo-ple in cities and nature, shipwrecks, birds, blueberries, bunkers ans huts in the wood.

When I went to Murmansk, I entered the city by car from kirkenes in norway. We were in the city center for two days and then left the same way we entered. when I left, I wanted to know more about the context of the city and its surroundings. How would it be to enter the city by boat from the barents sea, by skis on the tundra or even from an arial spaceship?

I decided to start by following the bar-ents fjord, which becomes the tuloma riv-er and ends up in Verhnetulomskoe drink-ing water reservoir. I used google earth to look through aproximately 300 photos that strangers have taken, found interest-ing and posted on the internet.

I wanted to see the area with an open mind, questioning the things without be-ing biased. Therefor I chose to use some children stories as a starting point to have a different perspective on what I found. i have given some of the places new names, having these stories in mind.

The photos I have used are all fragments of time and space that once was and now have passed. I got a broader perspective of the landscape and activities taking place there. using these photos, probably taken by both locals and tourists, I got a subjec-
