Munajaat #15- The Whispered Prayers of the Abstainers

يم� ح� الر� م�ن� ح الر� الل�ه� م� ب�س

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

� دارا ك�ن ت�نا سأ� �لـه�ي إ

ك ر�ها م� ر� ف� ح" ل�نا ت ر� ف� ح�

My God, You have settled us in an abode which has dug for

us pits of deception,


نايا ال م� ب�أ�ي د�ي ت نا و�ع�ل�ق�غ�د ر�ها بائ�ل� ح� ،ف�ي

and You have fastened us by the hands of death in the

snares of that abode's treachery!


كائ�د� م� م�ن ئ" ن�ل ت�ج� �ل�ي ك� إ ف�د�ع�ها ،خ"

In You we seek asylum from the tricks of its guile,


االغ ت�رار� م�ن� م" ن�ع ت�ص� ب�ك� و�ا ي ن�ت�ه� ز� خار�ف� ب�ز�

and to You we hold fast, lest we be deluded by the glitter

of its ornaments!


ا ط"ال�ب�ه� ل�ك�ة" ه ال م" ا إ�ن�ه� ،ف�

It destroys its pursuers


ا ال�ل�ه� ح" ة" ت ل�ف� ،ال م"

and ruins its settlers,


ب�اآلفات� و�ة" ،ال م�ح ش"


it is stuffed with blights

ب�الن�ك�بات� ون�ة" ح" ال م�ش


and loaded with calamities.

ف�يها ـد نا Fه ز� ف� �لـه�ي ،إ

My God, induce us to renounce it


ك� يق� ب�ت�و ف� ن ها م� نا لFـم و�س�ت�ك� م� ،و�ع�ص

and keep us safe from it by Your giving success and Your

preservation from sin.


الب�يب� ج� ع�ن�ا ع ان ز� و�ت�ك� م"خال�ف�


Strip from us the robes of opposing You,

ن� ب�ح"س نا م"ور�أ" ت�و�ل� و�

ك�فاي�ت�ك�attend to our affairs through

Your good sufficiency,


ع�ة� س� م�ن ز�يد�نا م� ر و ف�أ� و�

ت�ك� م� ح amplify our increase from theر�boundless plenty of Your

mercy


ي ض� ف� م�ن الت�نا ص� م�ل أ�ج و�ب�ك� م�واه�

be liberal in our gifts from the overflow of Your grants,


ئ�د�ت�نا أ�ف ف�ي غ ر�سأ� و�

ب�ت�ك� ح� م� جار� أ�شplant in our hearts the trees

of Your love,


ت�ك� ع ر�ف� م� ن وار�� أ ل�نا ت م�م

� أ ،و�

complete for us the lights of Your knowledge,


و�ك� ع�ف الو�ة� ح� نا أ�ذ�ق ،و�

give us to taste the sweetness of Your pardon


ت�ك� ر� غ ف� م� ل�ذ�ة� ،و�

and the pleasure of Your forgiveness,


ل�قائ�ك� ي�و م� ع ي"ن�ناأ� ر�ر ق

أ� و�ي�ت�ك� ؤ gladden our eyes on the day of،ب�ر"

meeting You with the vision of You,


ن م� الدZن يا ب� ح" ر�ج خأ� و�

ل"وب�نا dislodge the love of thisق"world from our spirits,


ين� ال�ح� ب�الص� ع�ل ت� ف� ك�مات�ك� و� ف ص� ،م�ن

Just as You have done for the righteous, Your selected

friends,


ت�ك� خاص� م�ن ب رار�و�األ�

and for the pious, those whom You have singled out!


م� ح� رأ� يا ت�ك� م� ح ب�ر�م�ين� اح� Through Your mercy, O Mostالر�

Merciful of the merciful,


ين� م� ك ر�األ� م� ك ر�

أ� يا و�

O Most Generous of the most generous!
