Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune-mediated demyelination disease whose precise molecular mechanism are still unknown. Proteolipid protein (PLP) and Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein (MOG) are suspected antigens in the pathogenesis of MS. As such, these myelin proteins may be used as antigens to induce Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis (EAE), an animal model of the central nervous system (CNS) demyelinating diseases including MS.

Every lot of MOG (35-55) (Cat# AS-60130) peptide is tested for EAE induction in mice. ELISA assays for quantifying IgG of MOG or PLP are the first in the industry.
