Multi-Cultural Music Leader (Part-Time) OPPORTUNITY: Christ Community Church is a new church plant in Batesburg-Leesville, SC. A struggling congregation donated their church building so that we could start a new Bible-Believing, Gospel-Centered church in this Town.

We would love to hire someone who could lead us in a variety of musical styles. Our hope is to grow a multi-cultural church in a town that historically has been very divided. We hope to continue to diversify our church in its leadership and attendance with this position.

REQUIREMENTS:  - Plans, Organizes, Facilitates and Executes the musical elements of the weekly worship service.- Communicates regularly with Pastor to discuss themes of sermon and service, and plans music accordingly (texting and email). - Meets weekly deadlines for planning and preparation. - Attends meetings with pastor and other staff members to discuss worship, vision, ministry, etc. 

QUALIFICATIONS: - Believes that the Bible is the Word of God, is trusting in the gospel of grace for salvation and

is walking with Jesus in humility, repentance and faith. - Has a desire and is able to lead in a variety of musical styles, such as: Gospel, Spiritual,

Modern Hymn arrangements, contemporary Praise & Worship, Latin, Choirs, etc. The more variety the better!

- Plays a lead instrument and sings (Preferably Piano, Keyboard, Organ and/or Guitar). - Willing to work with and under people from different musical cultures and backgrounds. - Has a desire to help grow a diverse church plant in its beginning stages.
