KEY RESPONSIBILITIESGlaxoSmithKline Pakistan Ltd

Responsible for the Budget preparation for the site. (Master production scheduling against budgeted volume, Opening/Closing balances, in-transit, Plan to purchase, Available Capacity, resources required etc).

Preparation and Implementation of Inventory policy (Annual usage Volume, ABC categorization, Shelf Life, Minimum Order size/Supplier Lot size, safety Stocks/Week cover, No of orders per year etc).

To develop and issue a stable and comprehensive production schedule (Weekly/Forth nightly/Monthly) driven from Master production schedule and seek agreement on it from relevant stakeholders.

Responsible for In/outbound logistics of the site.

Dispatch planning of locally produced products.

To develop and maintain ‘Integrity of Critical Supply chain Data’ i.e. Item Master, BOM, Recipes, Production versions, Work centers.

To facilitate and follow up of transactions in system

from Opening to Closing.

To conduct ‘Supply Review Meeting’ with all stake holders to share and seek solution for the Supply chain cycle.

Responsible to develop and follow ups for all lead times. 1. Material Procurement lead time, 2. Receipt to MRN, 3. Laboratory testing, 4. Open Process order, 5. Closing of process order.

Liaison with Site Head/ Demand/Marketing/ Production/ Q.A/ Procurement/ Stores & Engineering departments for effective follow up of production program and supply.

Follow up from production to have full visibility of the daily progress against the production schedule.

Make necessary amendments/ adjustments in production schedule as per the requirement from customer.

Escalate issues regarding production schedules.

To adjust re-conditioning jobs in production schedule for their timely completion as per the requirement from the customer.

Support engineering department in adhering the preventive maintenance schedule.

To maintain Master production schedule on monthly basis.

To maintain Master production schedule on day to day basis to incorporate the changes if any.

To create or convert Shop order from plan order.

Update and maintain Material requirement planning (MRP).

Responsible for timely issuance of requisition from BPCS for Raw and Packaging material and create purchase order for local items for the same.

Liaison with the supplier for timely delivery and follow ups.

Scheduling re-scheduling of material procurement and MPS in case of changes in requirement i.e. unplanned Institutional orders.

To cater ordering for requirement of abnormal demand, export, institutional orders etc.

Responsible for issuing of predefined batch number to Products and maintain Shop order card.

Responsible for keeping valid batch numbers as per pre-defined batch logic for input in process order.

To conduct ‘Agreed Supply Plan’ meeting with all stake holders.

Setting of Master Production Schedule according to Agreed Supply Plan.

Time review of inventory and actions to keep the inventory at accepted level.

To arrange to transfer Finished Goods Stock to Commercial/Customer on agreed dates.
