Mugatunes started as a project in the spring of 2015 at Trinity College
We are music buffs who loved discovering new artists
We quickly discovered there’s plenty of other kids who love finding the best new songs
However, there is no way to share this music
We saw a HUGE gap in the market for an intercollegiate music sharing platform
A DropBox folder turned into a music-blog, and a movement was born…

Music aficionados had no seamless way to exchange songs & playlists with their worlds
Two thirds of listeners didn't share music with their circles at all due to no easy platform, and the second most popular way to share is still burning a CD
