Since 1974, Raise-Rite has been raising concrete for hundreds of satisfied residential and commercial accounts.

Slabjacking — or mudjacking — as it is commonly called, is a cost effective alternative to replacing sunken concrete. The process includes drilling holes through the surface of the concrete and pumping a flowable cement grout underneath. As the mixture flows beneath the surface, voids and depressions are filled and the slab is raised to achieve the desired height.

Mudjacking is dependent on the weather, we generally work from Mid-March through Mid-December. Most residential work is completed in one day, weather permitting. Our team needs access to an exterior water spigot, otherwise it’s only necessary to be present if the area is an interior or locked yard.

• The holes that are drilled are approximately 15/8” in diameter (about the size of a golf ball). They’re noticeable because we are putting fresh concrete patch on aged concrete. In time, however, the holes will begin to blend with the existing concrete.

• Most areas can be used right after we finish. However, driveway and garages must be unused for 48-72 hours.

• We use a sand/cement grout mixture comprised of Portland cement and baseball sand.

• The existing cracks in your slab will still exist. Mudjacking can only lift by means of hydraulic pressure, it cannot move slabs horizontally to close gaps that may have resulted from ground slump, frost heave, and/or settlement.

• Raise-Rite can provide you with an estimate for caulking, patching or grinding of your concrete. Sorry, we do not offer resurfacing or perform curb cutting or grinding.
