All subcontractors performing site works will require the following; • SWMS

• Insurances

– WorkCover

– Product/Public Liability

– Professional Indemnity

• Construction white cards

• Complete Hutchies online induction

• Construction PPE (safety boots, high vis clothing etc.)

• Compliance with the safety requirements of a commercial builder

• Compliance with NSW Policies (detailed on the next slide)

NSW Aboriginal Participation in Construction (APIC)

Policy

• Directive to allocate 1.5% of contract funds towards;

– Indigenous employment

– Purchases from Indigenous Businesses

– Training/Education relating to APIC

– Community based activities relating to APIC

NSW Training Management Policy

• 20% of site workers must be apprentices/people in

training

• HB have a target of 30% of site staff to be

apprentices/people
