The new Motorola MTX1550 and MTX4550 radios are CSA approved. Professionals who must work in and around fl ammable gases or vapors, ignitable dust or fi bers, or other environmental dangers can depend on the Motorola MTX1550 and MTX4550 models. These radios are ideal for daily use in such industries as Petroleum/Oil Refi ning, Mining and Chemical Man-ufacturing.
The MTX1550 and MTX4550 portables are Canada Standards Association (CSA) Approved as intrinsically safe for permitted application use in locations* Zone 1, Ex ib IIC and Class II, Groups E, F, G, and Class III when used with Motorola battery NNTN5510, and CSA approved accessories as outlined in manual number 68007024013. Temperature code T4.
In addition to being CSA Approved, the MTX1550 and MTX4550 radios offer enhanced features to help fur-ther improve safety. These radios are easy to identify from a distance as intrinsically safe due to their bright blue color. They also feature software that enables Talk Permit Tone and Keypad Backlight as well as a new battery with an improved latching mechanism. Combined with a robust feature set, the MTX1550 and MTX4550 radios are durable, reliable and easy to use in your demanding work environment.
