Have Fun, Make Friends, See New Things. For over 80 years, Cub Scouts have been having the time of their lives making new friends and learning new things in an environment designed to help them succeed. From building his own Pinewood Derby® Car to learning how to roast the perfect marshmallow with his best friends at a family campout, your child will LOVE being a Cub Scout. So if he's in the first through fifth grades, or 6 to 10 years old, then it's time for him to have some fun with the Mount Zion Baptist Church Cub Scout Pack 99. Join us on Mondays (6:00 PM – 7:00 PM) at 1905 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Albany, Georgia.

How About An Adventure? Boy Scouts prove themselves in an environment that challenges their courage and tests their nerve. After they've been given the proper guidance from those with experience and know-how, they take their own lead, going places they've never gone, seeing things they've never seen, and diving into the rugged world of outdoor adventure, relying on teamwork and character to accomplish what everyone else thinks is impossible. Sounds fun? If you're a boy age 11 or at least 10 and have completed the fifth grade, or have earned the Cub Scout Arrow of Light Award, to 17 years old, the time for a real adventure is now with the Mount Zion Baptist Church Boy Scout Troop 99. Join us on Saturdays (11:00 AM – 12:30 PM) at 420 Gowan Avenue, Albany, Georgia.

Dare To Go! Would you like to enjoy the adventure of experiencing life in a different way? How about hanging out with your friends, venturing and exploring new and far-off places? If so, you can experience the thrill of zip lining, accomplish the task of rock climbing, or dare to challenge the heart-pounding charge of whitewater rafting. All of these things in the name of enjoying life, having fun with your friends and making new friends traveling on high adventure excursions. If you like venturing out in the world of wonder, then “Venture Crew 97” is the place for you. This is a coed program for 13 year-olds that have completed 8th grade, teenagers and young adults up to 21 years-old sponsored by the Scouting Program. If you are interested, please join us on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Camp Osborn Boy Scouts, 480 Camp Osborn Road, Sylvester, GA 31791.
