We are very excited to announce the birth of Thea’s first litter on December 7th, four girls and two boys! Please see a picture below of the lovely Thea winning First Place in her class at the National Specialty Show.

We expect to place the puppies in their “forever” homes by the end of February and are now starting the process of selecting owners from the many people who have contacted us about obtaining a puppy. This is an arduous task! If you are receiving this announce-ment via email, it is because you have already expressed an interest in one of our pup-pies and have sent us a completed application. So back to Thea. Thea has a soft and sweet disposition, and she is always wagging her tail and looking to please and cuddle up. She’s also a willing partner in obedience and other “games”, easily earning her Canine Good Citizen certificate, a Novice Trick title and a Novice Barn Hunt title. Thea has been training in agility and is a “weaves ma-chine”, handily learning that new skill as well as mastering the various obstacles needed to compete in agility. She also has earned her first leg toward a Junior Hunter title.

Lovely Thea Thea's parents are Vizsla superstars! Her father Mason, is a two time National Best in Show winner, Best of Breed at Westminster and the top conformation Vizsla in 2012 and 2013. Mason was also a two time top producing conformation sire as well as a top pro-ducing hunt test sire. Mason has several obedience titles and a Master Hunter title. Thea’s mother, Cleopatra, is a multiple year top producer, and is also the 2019 National Top Producing Conformation Dam. Both of Thea’s parents have achieved their AKC Registry of Merit, which is based on titles earned by their offspring.

Thea was bred to Am Gr/Can Ch Kelby Creek's And Eastwind's Over The Moon JH (aka Mani) owned by Gale Shay, Tom Shay and Mary Gaudio. Mani is a beautiful dog with lovely movement and terrific hunting instinct. He’s done well in the conformation ring winning Best of Winners at the 2017 VCA Nationals and an Award of Merit at the AKC National Show. Being a solid hunting companion, he has earned his Junior Hunter title as well as two legs towards his Senior Hunting title.

Mani on point Mani’s parents are also super stars. His father Mojo is a multiple Best in Specialty Show winner and the 2019 National Top Producing Conformation Sire. Mani’s mother Rosie

was the 2013 National Top Producing Conformation Dam. Both of Mani’s parents have achieved their AKC Registry of Merit, which is based on titles earned by their offspring.

Both Thea and Mani have passed their health tests: eyes, cardiac, thyroid, elbows and have “good” hips. And now for the real stars of the show, named for some of our favorite singers: the girls are Etta, Cass, Quincy and Simone and the boys are Satchmo and Cole. They are very vigorous and all of them have beautiful dark coats and sweet faces. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this litter!
