MShift, with over 50 Japanese Customers, is successfully handling large-scale deployments in the most advanced wireless market in the world. Below are a few of our Japanese Customers & Partners:
MTI, the largest wireless content provider in the world (see Forbes Magazine article, "Upwardly mobile", Feb. 7, 2000) is both a MShift Customer and Partner, as well as the primary investor in MShift. MTI is successfully reselling MShift Solutions in Japan.
KDDI and DDI Pocket are both mobile carriers in Japan. With over 12 million wireless Internet service subscribers, KDDI has the largest number of WAP subscribers in the world. KDDI uses the MoblieShift® Engine to convert hundreds of unofficial iMode (cHTML) sites to WAP (HDML) sites on a daily basis. DDI pocket, with its own proprietary wireless protocol, was the first mobile carrier in Japan.
