• What information is necessary to make money in the stock market ……?
• This is a question all market participants try to answer daily.
• This looks easy but it is not.
Information Needed is :• When to Enter Market. Buy/Sell.• When to Exit Reverse Position.• What Stop Loss to keep.• The Seminar will address • The Seminar will address
these questions .• Seminar will teach a unique
method of Day Trading ‘NIFTY’ profitably.
• ‘BALJEKAR SYSTEM’ is a system on Day Trading dedicated to a single instrument ‘NIFTY’.
• All available Literature on Day Trading is by foreign authors for Trading is by foreign authors for those markets.
• This is only one of its kind in the world.
’

• ‘MARKET’ is an entity by itself & is the sum total of emotions of all participants at any given moment.
• Emotions that drive all markets –‘GREED’ & ‘FEAR’ .‘GREED’ & ‘FEAR’ .
• Greed drives markets ‘UP’
• Fear drives markets ‘Down’.
• Correct analysis of the prevailing emotion helps to Trade / Invest .
• This method of trading has been devised after Extensive Research and Statistical Study of the Price Action in the NIFTY over a four
year period from 2008 to 2011 on Weekly , Daily & Intraday Charts.
• This system has been tested in actual
trades from 2012 - 2014 .
• This system has simple easy to follow rules.
Unique Features of this Trading System
1.This does not need Computer, Computer Software or Charts or Indicators.
2.All you need is the Daily levels of the High (H), Low (L) and Close (C). on the NIFTY and the Weekly H, L & C which is available in the Weekly H, L & C which is available in any financial news paper or NSE website
3. A regular Calculator.
4. This has very simple and easy to follow rules for Entry, Stop Loss level and Exit.
5. You do not need to be in front of the Computer or TV the entire trading day.
6. You can trade thru your broker by mobile while you are doing some other work.
7. I have devised this only to trade 7. I have devised this only to trade NIFTY and mainly for day trades and very short term trades of BTST (Buy today Sell tomorrow & vise-versa.)
8. Success rate is over 85 % provided all the rules are exactly followed.
What is Short term Trading :
• This could mean a period from a Single Day to a Week or a Month. Objective in
the market is to make money there is no need to Straitjacket into categories. If the
target is achieved in 5 mins. then take the profit and exit the trade if it takes 10 days ,
wait till then.
• Trading w.r.t. Investing .
Trading is an activity purely for short term.
SHORT TERM / DAY TRADING
INTRODUCTORY INTRODUCTORY SEMINAR.SEMINAR.
Trading is an activity purely for short term.
Taking advantage of a particular trend, momentum or news based
movement in shares.
Trading could involve both long and short positions.
• Investing on the other hand is for a longer time frame which again could vary
from medium term (6 weeks to 6 months) and long term which is any period above
this.
• Investing would involve an element of value buying with the goal of price
appreciation. Only Long positions.
What Instrument to Trade.
NIFTY .(This is a market capitalization weighted index of
50 stocks representing various sectors. The stocks included in
this all have market-cap. above 500 crore and good
liquidity. The base for the NSE-50 index is the close prices
on 3 Nov. 1995 and is 1000.)on 3 Nov. 1995 and is 1000.)
# Liquidity is very good.
# Diversified so risk is less.
# Nifty represents the maximum market participants
so most closely mimics the psychology of the market hence
all technical analysis tools apply best to this.
TECHNICAL ANALYSIS
• It is the study of prices with charts being the primary tool.
• History:
• Modern day TA stems from Dow Theory developed around 1900 by Charles Dow.
• Human Element:
• Price of a security represents a consensus between buyer and seller.
• This level depends upon the expectation / perception of • This level depends upon the expectation / perception of investors/traders. the price therefore is determined by every market participant.
• Future can be found in the past:
• TA is the process of analyzing historical prices in an effort to determine future prices-history repeats itself.
• A Chart is a constantly updated record of investors recognition of fundamentals and their willingness to try and discount the future.
• It is a graphic record of a Psychological State.
• It is’nt real value that drives markets up /down but peoples Perception of Future Value.
Charts:
but peoples Perception of Future Value.
• Price is the balance between Supply and Demand.
• Demand pushes price Up,
• Supply brings it Down..
• Price can be displayed in various different ways.
Line chart, OHLC, Candlestick.
SUPPORT & RESISTANCE
• Support is the price at which buyers take control
and are willing to buy & sellers are unwilling to
sell.
• Resistance is the price at which sellers take
control & are willing to sell but buyers are
unwilling to buy above this price.unwilling to buy above this price.
• Price at which a trade takes place is the
consensus between buyer and seller.
• Thus support levels indicate price where majority
of investors believe that prices will move higher
while resistance levels indicate the price at which
a majority of investors feel prices will move lower.
The ‘Baljekar System’ is Based on the following Principles of Technical Analysis
1.Pivot Trading System it is used to calculate
levels.
2. Dow Theory –
• Major Trend, Intermediate Trend & Minor • Major Trend, Intermediate Trend & Minor
Trend. (Maj. > Int. > Min.)
• Trend is your Friend- trend once established
continues in that direction until a equal and
opposite force changes it.
• This is true on all time periods- Daily, Weekly,
Monthly , Yearly.
5. The Nature of Market Activity during
a Trading day ie. Increased activity
during certain periods of the trading day.
6. Repetitive Levels of Daily High Low
& Close for each Trading Day of the & Close for each Trading Day of the
Week.
7.The Behavior of NIFTY on various
days of the Week .
What are OPTIONS…?
• Baljekar System mainly uses ‘OPTIONS’ for the actual trades.
• Option is a derivative of NIFTY-- it derives its value from the underlying ie ‘NIFTY’.
• Option is the Right but not the Obligation to Buy Nifty (Call) or Sell Nifty (Put) at a given Price (Strike) at a given time in the given Price (Strike) at a given time in the future (Expiry)
• For this a Premium is paid to the seller (writer) of the option.
• In buying an option the gain is unlimited the loss is limited to the premium paid.
• The loss is unlimited and gain limited to the premium collected for the seller.
BULLISH SETUP: 1. Go Long on Futures
2. Buy Call Option . (loss limited, profit unlimited)
3. Sell Put Options. (loss unlimited, profit limited)
BEARISH SETUP : 1. Go Short on Futures.
2. Buy Put Options. (profit unlimited , loss limited)
