Function: provides the SHDSL service access in the TDM mode. The H521SDL board provides 4 E1 ports and 4 SHDSL ports. By the 4 SHDSL ports, the board can be connected with the remote SHDSL terminal, which can provide the V35 port (N×64kbit/s, 3≤N≤31) or the E1 port (2048kbit/s)

Pin assignment between Board and BackplaneThe E1 upstream cable connects to the 1st -8th rows of pins of the HEADER, and 4 channels of E1 interface use the upper 8 rows of pins of the upper HEADER.The SHDSL cable connects to the 25th-32nd rows of pins of the HEADER. The services are carried at the last four rows of pins. There are four AMP connectors at one end of the cable (the other end is connected to the cable distribution frame). Accordingly, one cable can be connected with two H521SDL boards. Pay attention to the different colors and labels of cables connected with AMP connectors .
