Description:Rooflights are rectangular in shape with trusses spanning the short directionTrusses are then braced together using the 533UB92Wind bracing fitted at each end
Placing:Trusses will be assembled in full lengths and placed in position with the tower cranes using spreader beam for lifting.Trusses will be placed consecutively from one end with temporary bracing.Wind bracing installed when second truss in position.Floors underneath will be cordoned off while trusses are being placed.Braces will be placed in position using tower crane with personnel access from a boom lift on ground floor
Finishing:A fully boarded work platform will be suspended from the completed truss structure to facilitate finishing works. Brackets will be incorporated into the truss design to facilitate suspension tubes. Cladding and Top Glazing will be installed working on top of the truss frame with safety nets

INSTALLATION OF ROOFLIGHTS TYPE F:Rooflights to be designed, supplied and installed by a specialist subcontractorMethod of Installation to be designed by subcontractor.We anticipate a 2 way Truss System with primary trusses on the gridlines. The trusses will be prefabricated in sections and placed with tower cranes. 4 temporary support towers will be positioned as shown to faciltate the placing of the two initial trusses in one direction.The two central trusses in the other direction will then be placed and secured to the first two trussesThe temporary towers can now be removedThe remaining trusses in one direction will then be placed tying into the last two trusses.The intersecting trusses will be fixed in place in pieces When trusses are complete a work platform will be suspended from the trusses as in Types A to E.Cladding will be installed from the outside.
