Why I Love My MoMMy Moms are people who love you for everything you do. Moms are proud that they have some-one to look after. Moms are angels sent by God to look after us kids, and I have the best one there is. My mom is the best! We play basketball together and we go shopping. My mom and I take long walks together and talk about life. She listens to my problems and gives me advice. My mom helps me with my homework so I can go to college. She can tell when I’m feeling gloomy or sad, and she takes me outside to talk about it. My mom is like my best friend. She is loving, caring, fun and super sweet to my little sister and I. We do almost everything together. I would do anything to make my mom smile, laugh, and be proud of me. Mothers Day only comes once a year and I want to say to my mommy, thank you for everything you have done for me. I love you Mom! Happy Mother’s Day Mommy!

orcas IsLandMy favorite trip ever was the time I went to Orcas Island with my family. There was a beach right next to the house. We would get up at 6:00 in the morning and go beachcombing, searching for wildlife. We went with our moms and found hundreds of crabs, starfish, eels, birds, squid and other sea creatures. We went whale watching and saw lots of whales. Their names were Granny, Ruffles, Yoda, Lea, and Franz. We also saw otters and bald eagles. We went canoeing and got a starfish attached to the hull. We also saw seals feeding, which was certainly a grim spectacle. What I liked most about this trip was I was with my family the whole time.

My FavorIte FaMILy trIpWhen I went to Disneyland, “The Happiest Place On Earth”, I was amazed that we were finally there. There were lots of people waiting to get into the park. The smells of popcorn, caramel apples, and other delicious sweets met us at the opening. My family and I, plus my friend, heard lots of different people talking and laughing. We saw different Disney characters like Minnie Mouse (Mom’s favorite character), Mick-ey Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, and a lot more. We got to see the parade and go on more than ten rides. We stayed at the park for a long time, then we went to Denny’s really early in the morning, at like 1:30am. The day was really special because I got to spend time with my family and friend who had not been to Disneyland since she was two. The best part of the day was that I got to spend time with my mom and dad because I really love them.

I love my mom because she brings me lunch to school, like McDonalds, Jack In the Box, and Rusty’s Pizza, and she takes me to my two favorite restaurants Cabo, and Kampai. She cooks shrimp and fish for me, and I love her too because she always thinks that I should eat before her! She takes me shopping to my three favorite stores Limited Too, Tillys, and The Hello Kitty Store. She also buys me accessories at Claire’s, takes me to Six Flags, and Disney-land! I love her because when she gets home she watches music videos with me and starts danc-ing to the song. We also play football with my sister and we cheat! My mom plays my X-box with me even though she doesn’t play so well. These are just a few things why I love my lovely mommy! Happy Mother’s Day Mommy!

KauaII love my mom, and both my mom and I really love Kauai. I went with my whole family: my cousins, aunts, uncles, grandma, my mom, dad, sister, and my brother. It was fun. I really liked swimming in the ocean with my family. I liked it because the water was warm. I also liked it when I went kayaking with my cousins, dad, sister, and mom. We saw amazing sea turtles. When we went to Poipu my mom came with us. She saved a chicken that a dog was going to eat. We went on a boat that took us to a place to snorkel. It was fun. I enjoyed the trip because my family and my mom were there and we had a great time together!

Why I Love My MoMMy Moms are people who love you no matter what happens. My mom always takes care of me. She cheers me on when I’m playing a basketball game. She takes me to go shopping and to buy other stuff. After a long day at her work she still comes home and cooks for us. My mom cooks bean, cheese, and chicken burritos that are so good. She also helps me with my homework. We do lots of activities together, for example, we workout at the YMCA. When I’m having a rough day she cheers me up. We like to watch TV shows together like America’s Next Top Model, The search for the Next Pussycat Doll, and American Idol. We can laugh at each other; that’s lots of fun. We bake t ogether. Mmmm those cookies are great! We also love to watch movies at the movie theater. My mom has great advice for me when I don’t know what to do. Moms are people who are chosen to be with us. I am so glad I got the best one. Just seeing my mom puts a smile on my face. I appreciate everything my mom does for me. My mom is a mom figure but also my best friend. My wish is to make Mothers’ Day a special day for my mom. I love you, mom.

I can trust my mom because if I tell her a secret and tell her not to tell anyone, she won’t ever tell. I can tell that my mom loves me because she is always trying to look out for me. When I ask for something she usually buys it for me even if I don’t really need it. She takes me to places like Disney-land and Magic Mountain. My mom makes me laugh a lot. She works hard everyday to buy food, shoes, clothes, water, and a house for our family. My mom always encourages me. She always tells me that I am beautiful and I have beautiful eyes. When I ask my mom if my friends can come over or if I can go over most of the time she says yes. Of course my mom has to ground me or take my cell phone away but I still love my mom. The reason I really love my mom is because if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be alive. Sometimes we get mad at each other but no matter what I will ALWAYS love my mommy. I LOVE YOU MOMMY!

I Love My MoM Because…I love my mom because she is always there for me. She says good night and tucks me in every night. She cares about me and helps me always. She buys all my clothes and takes me shopping. She always drives and comes to my Flamenco lessons every Wednesday at four o’clock. She helps me with my homework and watches movies with me like Freedom Writers and Hood Winked. She cooks din-ner for me and sometimes makes my favorite food, which is Shrimp Pad Thai. Why I Love My MaMaMy mom is the best. Her name is Angela Gon-zalez. She will do anything for me. When I cry, my mom gives me a shoulder to cry on. She absolutely loves me. She is always there for me. She washes my clothes, she makes chicken salad for me, and we go shopping together to different stores. We always laugh together. I always try to think of ways to show how much I love her. My FavorIte FaMILy trIpImagine a place with tall trees, squirrels, and a bit of snow on top of a mountain. Isn’t that cool? Well, I went to that place, and that place is called Lake Tahoe. I went to Lake Tahoe last summer with my mom and dad. When I went to Lake Tahoe, I went on the Tahoe Queen Ferry. On the ferry I kept telling my mom to pose like a movie star so I could take pictures of her. One day, I went to the beach and went on a paddleboat. I could see little silver fish swimming beneath the little paddleboat. It was so hot that my mom kept on cupping her hands in the water and pouring the water on her arms. On my last day in Lake Tahoe I walked around downtown with my mom and dad and looked for souvenirs. It was a pretty bad day to go walk all over downtown because it was so hot! During an eight-hour drive back to Santa Barbara I had to listen to the Macarena! But it wasn’t too bad because I got to listen to the Macarena with my mom!

My mom buys me things that I need like, clothes, school supplies, and shoes, and sometimes she gets me what I want, like toys and CD’s. My mom is really smart so it’s really nice when she helps me with my homework. We are BEST FRIENDS, so I can talk to her about anything and everything. She gives me really good advice, most of the time she’s never wrong. Also she’s always there for me no matter what happens. I love it when my mom gives me hugs and kisses with her love, but she is also strict with me so I won’t get in trouble. We spend lots of time together. Sometimes we just laugh about silly things on and on. We both have good taste in clothes. Also, we both enjoy eating. Sometimes we go to the jewelry store and look at earrings. I know my mom loves and cares about me more than anything. Sure we go through our ups and downs, but we both love each other. Why I Love My MoMI love my mom because she’s always there for me. On Mondays she always wakes me up because I’m usually really tired and sleepy. I really like it when my mom makes my lunch because she doesn’t put too much mayonnaise on my ham sandwiches. She always cooks for me and she makes my favorite, spaghetti with extra tomato sauce sprinkled with parmesan cheese on it. When it’s my birthday she gives me hair accessories, jewelry, purses, and clothes. When it’s my birthday my mom takes me shop-ping. We go to Claire’s and Macy’s. Those are the reasons why I love my mom.

My FavorIte trIp WIth My MoMMy favorite trip with my mom was to Mexico. The city was called Akumal. Akumal is right on the beach. The ocean is really warm, and has lots of fish. We went to this place called Grand Sanote that has lots of caves full of water and has lots of catfish. Right after the entrance there is a big cliff that is about 25 feet high that goes right

into the water. When we got back, I found a big barracuda jaw. We stayed in bungalows that are made out of seaweed and rocks. I really love my mom for taking me on that trip.

sIX FLaGsThanks to my mom, we went on the best trip in my life. And that trip was to Six Flags. What I smelled was rust off of the old broken down coasters. What I heard were the people scream-ing on the scariest rides. What I saw were some of the scariest rides. For example, one ride was called Viper. The best part was that I got to go on all of the best rides. The people I went with were my mom and some of my friends and their parents. The best part of it was because I went with my family, especially my mom.

My trIp to parIsI went on a trip to Paris, France with my family. The whole trip was pretty much organized by my wonderful mom, with a bit of help from my dad. We met our family friends from England in Paris. When we got there, it was dark and misty and gray and we drove for about an hour, until we reached the house we were staying in. The first day we spent unpacking, and getting used to all the French. The second day we went to the beach, which smelled of salt and cigarettes, and had lots of big, scary, rocks. The rest of the week we explored the quaint little town which had some really cool shops and restaurants. But my favorite part was going to the top of the Eiffel Tower with my mom. At the end of the week, after we explored, we left France for the good ol’ U. S. of A.

Best trIp WIth My MoMThe best trip with my parents was to Disney-land. My mom bought me a lot of things at Dis-neyland. The fun part was when my mom and I went to this little Mickey Mouse Movie Theater down Main Street. They showed old Mickey Mouse cartoons in the Movie Theater. The best ride of all was the Hollywood Haunted House. It was the best ride because it was scary and the people riding on the other side just disappeared like nothing. It was also funny because my mom screamed so loud that everyone got scared! The chairs looked like electrical chairs. After we got off the ride, we got ice cream and ate French fries and a hamburger. I met Buzz Light-Year, Woody, Mickey Mouse, and Pluto. Then my mom took pictures. After we left I told her, “You’re the best Mom in the world.” Happy Mother’s Day Mom. You’re the best!
