CLASS GOALS Locate, comprehend and interpret written

material such as: books, papers, graphs, etc.

Organize and write a response/evaluation of the written word.

Present material orally.

Write a variety of compositions – using prewriting, drafting, revising, editing & publishing.

DAILY WORKSpelling –- Assignment almost daily **** Final Test on Fri.

Reading Log – Read for at least 20 min. a day for 5 days a week.

**** Return every Monday – Signed

A lot of the Work will be done in Class. If not finished – it will be homework.

**** It is very important to be in class everyday. **** Be Prepared.

THINGS TO REMEMBERWhen Absent – All Work needs to be

made up within 3 days after the absent.

If there is a missing assignment – I will take it late (within 3 days), but without full credit. (This is better than an FN or even an F.)
