In Domain, Area of study should be decided. For exp: In Finance Domain, it can be corporate finance,

banking , financial services like mutual funds, insurance etc.

Consult with your guide about area of study Do the Literature Review on the area of study Find out the Research Gap Write the Research Questions and a decide the

tentative Title of the MRP in consultation with guide

How to Write Introduction

It sets the stage for the MRP and puts the topic in perspective

Ensure that the literature cited is balanced, up to date and relevant

Introduction might go through several drafts to make it read well and logically, while keeping it short.

While writing the introduction, we should put our self in reader’s position- would we continue reading ?

How to Write Review of Related Literature

Sources of existing literature are books, journals, magazine articles, e-journals etc.

It brings clarity and focus to research problem. Improves methodology. Broaden the knowledge base on the topic of the

research. The existing literature is written as : If the Author is one then write in the following

manner: Malhotra (2012) found that……. If there are two Authors: Malhotra and Sharma (2012) found that…. If more than two Authors : Malhotra et al. (2012) found that…..
