Deliberately regulated information, pressure, incentives

Mentors must carefully regulate a balance of information, pressure, and incentives in order to help instill knowledge, values, and confidence.

Too little, and the aspiring leaders will rarely wander out of their current competence zone (comfort zone). Too much, and Mentors could overwhelm the aspiring leaders and cause paralysis.
