Specialists in manufacturing & supply of indelible ink (voter's ink) for all the parliamentary, assembly and local bodies elections in India since 1962.MPVL has been supplying this indelible ink to various countries like Turkey, Nepal, Papua-new-guinea, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Singapore etc.MPVL is one of the profit making and dividend declared company in karnataka among public sector units

INDELIBLE INK:

MPVL is the only paint manufacturing unit in public sector and thus it has a large market available in the Government establishments . The main customer for the indelible ink is Election Commission of India and some other foreign countries like Nepal, Combodia, Turkey , South Africa, Nigeria etc.,

Ours is Government company having exclusive licence to manufacture and supply `Voters Ink' called `Indelible Ink ' eversince 1962.

We have been authorized by the Election Commission of India to supply the Ink to all the Parliamentary, Assembly and Civic Bodies Polls in India.

Eversince India gained independence during 1947, nearly 13 General Elections held in India which is largest democratic country in the world. Our Ink has tested nearly 6000 million voters (Six thousand million voters) over the six decades.

Apart from domestic trade, our Ink has also tried and used successfully on more than 400 million (Four hundred million) persons over 60 years of proven performance, (ie., overseas Market)

We have been exporting this Ink to Ghana-Turkey, Papua-New-Guinea, Fiji Island, Malaysia, Singapore, Nepal, Nigeria, South AFrica, Canada, Cambodia, Mangolia, Burkina Faso, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Togo, Benin, Lesotho, everesince 1978.

As you aware, our Ink is the first choice for Election purpose in order to ensure that a person can exercise his/her right to vote in an election and to prevent the fraudulent/multiple voting by the same person or persons.

1. Modernization at plant level in phased manner through automation is being taken as a first step in order to increase the production out-put in shortest duration, a machine called ATTRITOR has been installed at the coast of Rs. 2.00 lakhs and being put to use. This

Machine was inaugurated by Hon'ble Minister Sr. R.V. Desponde, Large & Medium Scale Industries, Government of Karnataka in the month of June 2002.

2. The Company has obtained ISO-9001/2000 Certification in the month of July-2002.

SPECIAL ISSUES:

PRODUCTION PROCEDURE OF MPVL

The production of the company mainly depends on the raw materials purchased from most of the neighboring states as well as North Indian States. For example, chemicals required for production are bought from Maharashtra, Oil and pigments are purchased from Puna, resins from Indore and extendrs from Uttar Pradesh and so on.

Before the production starts, the raw material purchased will be tested by the company in their own lab for quality certification. After testing, the raw-materials will be sent to the raw material stores and then to production unit. The raw material is issued in FIFO method (First In First Out) and the finished goods will be issued in LIFO method (Last In First Out).

The production is carried on in varnish unit, paint unit, powder distemper unit; oil bound distemper unit, sealing wax unit and ink unit. The production of the products depends on the demand from the buyers. Basically the demand is from the industrial side.

In 1971, the company extended a joint venture agreement with AIK, as vast German company. This German Company provided technical assistance in manufacturing of sophisticated insulating varnishes which are used in the manufacturing of electronic equipment and machinery sales as generation transformer etc. But, the demand for the above products has considerably declined in recent days.RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

The company is well equipped with R&D Development facilities. Though no new equipments were added during the previous financial year, every effort was made to improve the quality of the products manufactured.

BUDGET OF MPVL

The various budget prepared by the company are sales budget which is budgeted to Rs. 600 lakhs including indelible ink of Rs. 300 lakhs. The company has overdraft facilities upto Rs. 60 lakhs in State Bank of Mysore. Purchase budget is 60% of sales i.e., Rs. 360 lakhs.

Apply minimum 2 coats to get good finish. Allow 3 to 4 hours between two coats. If necessary primer should be used before finish AWD.

BRINDAVAN GENERAL PURPOSE SYNTHETIC ENAMEL

Description : It is based on a synthetic resin specially formulated to give good glass & durability at a low cost

Recommended uses : Economic at quick drying high gloss enamel all types of surfaces which gives longer durability and good appeal

MYSOLIN ACRYLIC WASHABLE DISTEMPER

Recommended Uses : A water thinned flat finish paint, meant for interior use on masonry, dries fast to a satin like finish, having good durability and washability. 2 to 3 parts of water to be added to 3 parts of O.B.D. to get required brushable consistency. Apply minimum 2 coats to get good finish. Allow 3 to 4 hours between two coats. If necessary primer should be used before finish AWD.

Time of Hard dry : 4 to 6 hours

MYCEM CEMENT PAINT

Recommended Uses : This is an highly economical and durable exterior purpose decorative water proof cement paint suitable for application on lime plaster, cement plaster, stone, asbestos, cement etc.,. It must be cured like a cement by sprinkling water constantly at initial stages to give a lasting finish. Before application this is to be thinned with water to brushable consistency.

MYSOCHLORUB CHEMICAL RESISTING PAINT

Description :It is based on the plasticized chlorinated rubber medium suitably pigmented. It is an air drying coating provides good chemical & water resistance.

Recommended uses :

Recommended for protection of chemical plants and machinery, provides resistance to chemicals and dilute acids. Strongly recommended for marine use where surfaces to be painted are above sea water level.

Time of Hard Dry : 2 hours

Covering capacity : 13 to 14 Sq. Mtrs per litre

Recommended Primer : Mylac Zinc Chrome Red Oxide Primer

Finish : Semi glossy to sheen

BRINDAVAN ALUMINIUM PAINT

Description :

An excellent heat resisting and heat / light reflecting aluminium paint having brilliant metallic lustre The product is recommended for application on gas plants, exterior storage tanks, etc. Ideal is to apply over properly primed surfaces.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface to be painted should be clean , dry and free from dirt and grease. Remove all powdery and flaking paint.Rub down old painted surface before applying the 2 K.P.U. System.

Available in white and a wide range of pleasing , ready to use shades.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

By brush, spray. For spray application the conistency should be suitably adjusted with the use of 2 K.P.U thinner

DRYING

Under normal conditions temperature and humidity
