Different Font Used For Different Genre’s.

Action posters often use big block capitals for their title and text. They also edit the font to make it relate to the movie, for example in the Expendables with the big steel plates bolted together as the text.

FantasyFantasy films use dramatic and extravagant fonts, to reflect the genre of film and the otherworldly factors.

Romantic

Romantic films are often realistic and relates to our own lives, they don’t really express what’s happening through the text unlike other more visually striking films. The text I've found used is more plain and softer, often delicate and more girly than most.

HORRORI have found that most horror posters don’t use gory or extravagant fonts to reflect their movie. Instead, using classic and quite old fashioned text especially when the film is about exorcism and the paranormal etc. This has inspired and helped me decide what fonts and colours I should use for my Horror poster.
