The floating platform is connected to a hydraulic actuating system pulling on a series of stainless steel cables. The construction and materials are researched and selected with extreme care. They allow high loadings and offer maximum safety and durability. As a result the Variopool movable floors have a proven lifespan of more than 20 years.

The Variopool movable floors also meet the highest quality standards, not only in performance and production but also in terms of hygiene. Numerous grilles or slots are incorporated throughout the floor surface to ensure proper water circulation. The drive system that controls the hydraulic cylinders is located outside the pool eliminating the possibility of water contamination.

This innovative design provides an easy way to clean the pool as cleaning and maintenance is made possible via various inspection access hatches. The movable floors can also be equipped with an automatic cleaning position for easy access.

BULKHEADS


Submersible BulkheadsA vertical bulkhead divides the swimming pool into two independent pool areas. When the submersible boom is lowered it completely disappears into a trench and becomes part of the pool tank floor. The system is operated using a touch screen control panel that can easily be managed by a single attendant. The bulkhead is custom designed and manufactured in the same way as the movable floor and driven by a similar hydraulic actuating system. Alternatively, a vertical bulkhead can also be manufactured and supplied in three separate components making it possible to utilize the entire pool area, for example to have 50 metre lap swimming while still separating the pool.

Traversable BulkheadsSolid horizontal bulkheads move independently through the water without the need of guide channels, tracks or rails. It is pneumatically lifted out of the water and can be easily pushed by two attendants and locked in any desired position. Battery operated Boom Mover Buggies can also be supplied to mechanically push the boom through the pool.

Hinged BulkheadsHinged bulkheads are installed in one fixed location and can be operated either pneumatically or hydraulically. When the system is built into a new swimming pool area the lowered hinged bulkhead falls right into a custom recess in the pool floor creating an even and flat pool floor. For existing pools it can simply rest on the pool floor. The bulkhead can also be equipped with a removable platform with handrails to create a larger walking area.

Board lifters & bubbler systemsDivegym Equipment has developed a system of hydraulic board lifters designed specifically for the Duraflex Maxiflex diving boards. These work in combination with the Variopool system keeping the boards inaccessible whenever movable floor is not set deep enough to dive. Divegym also supplies bubbler systems for diving pools where a burst of air is released assisting divers during training. Variopool customizes their floors to allow the air to flow freely through the movable platform before reaching the surface.
