Preface About the Manual We have tried our best to make sure that what in this manual is

right and updated. However, we can not guarantee that all the

General precautions · Do not expose this product to dusty, dirty or sandy areas to

reduce the risk of damaging components.

· Do not expose the recorder to high temperature. High

temperature may shorten the life span of electronic device,

damage the battery and wind or melt specific plastic parts.

· Do not situate the recorder under cold environment. When the

product is preheated to its correct temperature, there will be

moisture inside and damage the circuit.

· Do not try to disassemble or repair by yourself. Doing so may

lead to electric shock from the internal high-pressure

components.

· Do not drop or punch the recorder. Otherwise the internal

components will be damaged.

· Do not clean the recorder with chemicals, cleaning solution or

high concentration detergent. Please wipe it with slightly damp

soft cloth.

· Do not open the battery cover during recording. Otherwise the

image will not be saved and other saved image data will also be

damaged.

· Send the recorder or any other accessories to the professional

service center for maintenance when they do not work well.

Operational condition · According to the design, the recorder should be operated

within the temperature range from 0 degree to 40 degree(32℉to

104℉)

· Do not operate or expose the recorder under following

condition:

—Direct sunlight area

—High temperature or dusty area

—Near air conditioner or heaters or any other extreme

temperature area

—In a closure car, especially parking in direct sunlight

—Violent vibration area

Battery · Use only the battery attached to the recorder. Other types of

battery would probably damage the recorder and the warranty

will be voided.

· Be sure that the battery is properly inserted. Otherwise it

would cause damage of the recorder or fire emergency.

· Remove the battery during long periods between usage in

case of battery leakage

· Remove the battery instantly if it is crushed or damaged in

case of battery leakage or diffusion

· Use only lithium-ion battery for this recorder.

The features and functions are introduced in this chapter. In

addition, PC system requirement, list of items and description of

the hardware components are included.

1. Brief Introduction of the Recorder 1.1 PC System Requirements

The PC system needs to meet the following requirements:

· Windows Vista/XP operating system

· Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz CPU or above (recommended

3GHz)

· At least 512 MB RAM or above (recommended 1GB)

· Standard USB2.0 port or above

· At least 64MB video card or above

2. Getting Started

Read this chapter to know how to operate the recorder. 2.1 Inserting a SD card

Inserting a SD card into the recorder, It provides the space

to store videos, images or other files. Please use high-speed

SD card (SDHC CLASS 4 or above), Ensure that the SD

card is not in write protected.

2.2 Installing the battery Install the battery into the recorder, Please pay attention the

positive and negative of battery (+ / -).

2.3 Turning on your recorder Turn On (Into Standby Status):Without connecting USB

adapter, Press “Power” button, the Recorder is in Standby

Status. Turn On (Into Record Status):Connecting USB

adaptor, the recorder will automatically turn on, and enter

Record Status automatically.

2.4 Three status of the recorder There are 3 status including Standby status, Record status

and Playback status.

1. Standby status: Without connecting USB adapter, Press

“Power” button, the Recorder is in Standby Status.

2. Record status: In Standby status, Press the “OK/Record”,

the recorder is switched to Record status.

3. Playback status: In Standby status, Press the “Browse”

button to play videos and photos

2.5 Some Basic Settings Before using the recorder, it is necessary to do some basic

settings such as Date and Time, Language and Beep Tone.

Setting Date and Time 1. Power on the recorder. Press the “Menu” button first.

Then press the “Left/ Right” button to select Setting item,

Press the “Up/Down” button to select the highlighting

Date/ Time. Press the “OK/Record” button to enter.

2. Press the “Up/Down” button to highlight every word.

3. Press the “Left/ Right” button to adjust value. Press the

“OK/Record” button to save the setting.

4. Press the “Menu” button to quit.

Setting Language 1. Power on the recorder. Press the “Menu” button first.

Then press the “Left/ Right” button to select Setting item.

Press the “Up/Down” button to select the highlighting

Language. Press the “OK/Record” button to enter.

2. Press the “Up/Down” button to select the following

language: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese.

After the selection, press the “OK/Record” button to

confirm the setting.

3. Press the “Menu” button to quit.

Setting Beep Tone 1. Power on the recorder. Press the “Menu” button first.

Then press the “Left/ Right” button to select Setting item.

Press the “Up/Down” button to select the highlighting Beep

Tone. Press the “OK/Record” to enter.

2. Press the “Up/Down” button to choose OFF/ ON. Press

the “OK/Record” button to confirm the setting.

3. Record Status Recording a video file

1. Power on your recorder, Recorder is in the standby

status.

2. Select a view with the LED monitor.

3. Press the “OK/Record” button to start recording.

4. Press the “OK/Record” button again to stop recording.

5. The video file is automatically saved.

Attention:

1. Video recording can be carried out before the resolution,

quality, date and time, sound or silent setting, see the

specific record settings

2. Maximum length of each recorded video file is 3.66G.

When it reaches the maximum, the recording is

automatically split and saved as another file. When

the recording mode setting in “Auto” mode (SYSTEM

SETTINGS -- REC SETTING), if the space is full,

the previous files don’t be deleted; When the recording

mode setting in other mode, if the space is full,

the previous saved file will be automatically deleted.

3. With higher resolution, the file is bigger and recording

time length is shorter.

4. Resolution1080p30, only some of the models supports.

5. When record resolution is 1080P30(Some models) /

720P30 / WVGAP60 / WVGAP30, then video ratio is 16:9;

When record resolution is VGA / QVGA, then video ratio

is 4:3.

6. REC SETTING: When it reaches the maximum, the

recording is automatically split and saved as another file.

When the recording mode setting in “Auto” mode (SYSTEM

SETTINGS -- REC SETTING), if the space is full,

the previous files don’t be deleted; When the recording

mode setting in other mode, if the space is full,

the previous saved file will be automatically deleted.

7. Recording mode is a silent video or audio recording

setting. (SYSTEM SETTINGS -- REC: VIDEO+AUDIO / VIDEO)

8. USB mode: (SYSTEM SETTINGS-- USB: MASS STORRGE)

You can use USB mode to connect with the host PC.

When the recorder is connected with the host PC, it appears

as a removable disk in the Windows explorer.

9. Under the Standby status press the “Down” button to

take pictures, the resolution is 5.0 Mega-pixel.

4. How to take pictures There are two ways to take pictures

The first method: Camera image 1. Power on your recorder, Recorder is in the standby

status.

2. Select a view with the LED monitor.

3. Press the down button is the camera shutter.

4. Photos are automatically saved with the only file name.

5. Take pictures of the resolution of this method is 5.0

Mega-pixel (2560x1920).

The second method: Capture image 1. Power on your recorder, Recorder during the recording

2. Select a view with the LED monitor.

3. Press the down button to capture images

4. Capture images saved with the same photos saved path.

5. The resolution established by resolution of record

(1080P, 720P, WVGA, VGA, QVGA).

5. Playback Status

5.1 Playing your MOVIE

1. Power on your recorder, Recorder is in the standby

status.

2. Under the standby status, press the “Browse” button to

switch to Playback status.

3. Use the “Up/Down/Left/Right” button to select the video

files. Press the “OK/Record” button to select the video.

Press the “OK/Record” button again to play back the

video file.

4. When playing back, Press the “OK/Record” button to

play or pause.

5. Press the “Left/ Right” button to adjust the playing

speed, ( minimum value is “X 1/64”, maximum value

is “X 64”).

6. Press the Down button to Play Reverse.

7. When playing, Press the “OK/Record” button to play or

pause.

8. Press the “Browse” button again to switch to the

recording status.

5.2 View your PHOTO

1. Power on your recorder, Recorder is in the standby

status.

2. Press the “Browse” button to switch to Playback status,

at this time in the video Thumbnail.

3. Use the “Up/Down/Left/Right” button to select the

PHOTO.

4. Use the “Up/Down/Left/Right” button to scroll

thumbnail photo. Press the “OK/Record” button to full

screen view.

5. Press the “Browse” button back to the thumbnail

interface. Press the “Browse” button again back to Standby

status.

5.3 AutoPlay This recorder can AutoPlay and automatically replay all the

videos or photos in order.

1. Power on your recorder, under the Playback Status. Preview thumbnails, press the “Menu” button to pop up

options, choose open AutoPlay, press the “OK/Record”

button to confirm.

2. Press the “Menu” button to Exit.

3. Thumbnail preview window. Press the “OK/Record”

button to confirm the selected object, then press the

“OK/Record” button again to into the AutoPlay.

5.4 Deletion Use the “Menu” button to delete files.

1. Power on your recorder, Recorder is in the standby

status.

2. Press the “Browse” button to enter the video thumbnails

or preview photos and images thumbnail preview, Select

the object you want to delete, then the object is highlighted

then press the “Menu” button to Remove option to select

the screen display

3. Use the “Up/Down” Move button to select FILE

DELETE or DELETE ALL, then press the “OK/Record”

button to remove the pop-up tips

4. Use the “Left/Right” Move button to select

NO/YES/ALL items, press the “OK/Record” button again

to deleted successfully

5. If you are playing files or view photos and images, you

can also press the “Menu” button to delete a file, use the

left button to move Yes or No, press the “OK/Record”

button to delete or not delete. Press the “Menu” button

to quit. 6. If you delete one picture at one time, thumbnail screen

will be displayed again, use the “Up/Down/Left/Right”

Move button to find which picture to delete, and press the

“Menu” button to delete.

5.5 Protection Use this function to lock the files in case they are

accidentally deleted.

1. Power on your recorder, Recorder is in the standby

status.

Press the “Browse” button to select MOVIE or PHOTO,

Video thumbnails in the movie name or the name

of the thumbnail pictures.

2. Press the “Menu” button to use the “Up/Down” button to

select the file protection, press the “OK/Record” button

to confirm the Save option, select to PROTECT ONE,

PROTECT ALL and UNPROTECT ALL, then press the

“OK/Record” button to confirmation. Press the “Menu”

button to quit. The files with are protected.

6.2 TV-Out Format Use the TV option to set the TV-out format of your area.

6.3 Format Use this function to Format the storage medium. Note that

all the data stored in the medium will be gone.

6.4 Restore factory defaults This function will restore all the settings to the factory

defaults.

6.5 Flicker Frequency Use this function to set the flicker frequency in your area.

7. Connecting

7.1 Connecting PC Power on your recorder, Connect the recorder to your

computer with the USB cable included,the computer will

appears two disks, one is stored in the hard disk that comes

with the camera, the other is SD card storage-hard drive.

7.2 Connecting to TV Connect your recorder and Standard TV via Accessory AV

cables.

7.3 Connecting to HDTV When connecting to HDTV, you can use high resolution to

display video files or pictures.

Use HDMI cable to connect the recorder video or audio

signal to HDTV.

Attention:

When connected to HDTV, shuttering, recording are

available!
